- The college publishes advertisement of admission in leading newspapers of Assam, in the college notice board and in the college website. In case of offline admission, the college issues admission application forms which will be duly filled-up and submitted by the applicants within a specific date.
- The authority forms a screening committee who scrutinizes the application forms and prepares a merit list of candidates that is notified in the college notice board a day before the date of admission.
- Admission is done on the basis of merit. Here the college strictly follows the government rules regarding the reservation of seats.

- Candidates seeking admission under reserved category must submit relevant Caste Certificate /DA Certificate with passport size photograph duly signed by competent authority in the time of admission.
- Candidate seeking admission under Sports, Culture, and NCC quota must submit proof of participation in the State/National/ International Level Competitions.
- TGL candidates must furnish documentary proofs.
- Students having gap years must specify it at the time of online submission. An affidavit must be furnished at the time of admission.
- Self-attested photocopies of Certificates, Marksheets and other relevant documents along with the originals must be produced at the time of admission.
