Welcome to the Department of Zoology, N. N. Saikia College, Titabar, Jorhat. The Department provides undergraduate courses to the students and aims at uplifting the zoology temperament among the youth of the region. The Department also aims to provide quality education involving conceptual and scientific needs of the students. The Department thrives to uplift the research interest among the students.
Department of Zoology family welcomes all with a welcome wall wherein the evolution of man is depicted in the form of a Painting, done by our present and former students.
This welcome wall contains the wall magazine, and two posters of the Department's activities regarding biodiversity conservation.
Two Aquarium prepared by the students of the Department, as part of Add-On Course offerred to the students of 6th Semester.
It is hereby requested to all the students that they should report to the Department at 8:30 A.M. on 25th and 26th April, 2023 without fail, in proper uniform and with their identity cards
A brief meeting will be organised in the Department of Zoology today (20.04.2023) at 12 noon, to discuss on the duty allocation of the students for the upcoming NAAC Peer Team Visit on 25 and 26 April, 2023. Therefore, all students are requested to attend the meeting.
The World Ozone Day 2023 was celebrated in online mode using Google Meet platform on 16.09.2023 with the students of the Department of Zoology.
