Talk on Career opportunities for the students of arts and science

A career counseling program was organized by the career counseling cell, N.N. Saikia College on the college premises on 07.04.2022 among the students of the 6^th semester. In the said program, Mr. Sunpreet Singh Kalsi, resource person, Kaziranga University delivered a talk before the students of N.N. Saikia. College. Mr. Singh lucidly unfolded various career opportunities available for the students of arts and science. He also deliberates upon qualities those need to be enhanced to avail the opportunities that the 21^St century offers to the students. Moreover, he stated students should put due emphasis on preparation for an interview as the interview has played a significant role in the selection procedure of candidates for a given post.  Finally, he suggested some valuable suggestions regarding the preparation for an interview for a job. About 50 students participate in the program and the participating students also interact with the resource person to clarify their doubts. Finally, the program was concluded with a vote of thanks, given by Dr. Dhrubajit Borah, Coordinator, career counseling cell, N.N. Saikia College.
