An awreness programmee on sexual harassment was organized by the sexual harassment committee of N.N.Saikia College in the college campus on 27^th June, 2019 among the students of the college. The convener of the committee, Dr. Bisakha Devi Das presided over the meeting. Ms Priyanka Bhuyan, Librarian of the college explained about the aim of the awareness programme. Ms Ditimoni Borah, Assistant Professor of English delivered a suitable lecture about the sexual harassment inside and outside college and also shared her own experience. Finally, Dr Bisakha Devi Das spoke about the types of sexual harassment, how to be alert and aware themselves and make other alert about the matter. President of the students’ union has also delivered a brief speech on the topic. A total of 46 students participated in the programme.
