A career counseling program was organized by the career counseling cell, N.N. Saikia College in collaboration with the career counseling cell, Kaziranga University, and the program was held on the college premises on 08.02.2022 among the students of the college. In the said program, Mr. Abhishek Cheterjee, resource person, Kaziranga University delivered a talk before the students of N.N. Saikia. College. Mr. Cheterjee lucidly unfolded various career opportunities available for students in emerging fields such as biotechnology, proteomics, and nanotechnology. He also provides information regarding institutions where these courses can be studied. He also deliberates upon laboratory skills those need to be enhanced to excel in these courses. Furthermore, he discussed career opportunities in the field of information technology and provides information regarding admission tests conducted by various Universities in the country to get admission in the courses related field of information technology. 25 students participate in the program and the participating students also interact with the resource person to clarify their doubts. Finally, the program was concluded with a vote of thanks, given by Dr. Dhrubajit Borah, Co-ordinator, career counseling cell, N.N. Saikia College.
