On 17.03.2023, a formal understanding was established between the Department of Zoology, Nanda Nath Saikia College, and Progoti ME School, Namchungi. On behalf of both sides, Dr. Manashi Bortamuly, HoD, Zoology and Shri Bijoy Engjang, Headmaster, Progoti ME School signed the formal understanding testimonial.

The said school is now an adopted school of the Department of Zoology.
