The Department of Zoology conducted a meeting on 12.08.2023 in the premises of the Department to welcome the new students of Zoology Major to the Department. Alongside, the Department conducted a meeting on the Zoological Society of the College, where in the activities of the previous year along with the budget used was discussed. The previous Secretory of the Zoological Society, Mitali Chetia, gave a detailed talk on the funds used, money collected and all activities undertaken during 2022-23.

The HoD welcomed all the students and requested them to maintain the decorum and name of the Department. Several cultural programmes were organized as part of the Freshmen Social. The programme ended with a nice group photograph.
