A Cancer Awareness Programme was organized by the Red Ribbon Club of N.N. Saikia College in collaboration with the IQAC, Department of Zoology, Zoological Society (a unit of ZSA), and the NSS Unit of the college. The programme aimed to create awareness among students and the community about cancer prevention, early detection, and healthy lifestyle practices. Resource persons highlighted the major risk factors, warning signs, and the importance of regular health check-ups. Emphasis was also laid on adopting preventive measures and promoting responsible health behaviour. The event witnessed active participation from faculty members, students, volunteers, and members of the organizing bodies. Interactive sessions and awareness talks helped in disseminating essential information and encouraging informed health choices. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the collaborative efforts of all units involved in making the initiative successful.
