State Level Students’ Workshop on “How to write a research paper and Research Project in Social Science”

A student based online State level workshop on the topic “How to write a research paper and Research Project in Social Science” was organised by department of Education and department of Economics, Nanda Nath Saikia College. The objective of workshop was to create research awareness among the students. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Budhin Dutta, Vice Principal of Nanda Nath Saikia College, followed by welcome address from Dr. Bisakha Devi Das, HoD, Department of Education. Mr Joy Prakash Oza, Coordinator of IQAC, Nanda Nath Saikia College talked about the different ways to promote better research culture among the students.  Introduction of the Resource person Dr. Manirul Hussain, HoD, Department of Sociology, Furkating College was given by Dr Konnaki Konwar HoD, Department of Economics.  The resource person elaborately explained the different   steps and procedures of research paper and report writing. The session ended with an intense interactive discussion-based question-answer session. The participants asked many questions on research paper writing and all the questions were satisfactorily answered by resource person. This session was moderated by Dr.Dipali Baishya, Department of Economics and Mrs Himakshi Borah, Department of Education. Nearly 110 participants from various colleges joined the workshop virtually. It was a very informative session which helped everyone getting knowledge about the research article. The workshop formally came to an end with the vote of thanks delivered by Mrs Monikha Saikia, Assistant Professor, Department of Education.
