Nanda Nath Saikia College, Titabar successfully conducted an 8-Day Online Training Programme on NEP Orientation and Sensitization from 20 January 2026 to 30 January 2026, in collaboration with Gauhati University – Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre. The programme was organized with the objective of sensitizing faculty members to the vision, principles, and implementation strategies of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The programme featured eminent academicians as resource persons who deliberated on key NEP-related themes including student diversity and inclusive education, skill development, academic leadership and governance, holistic and multidisciplinary education, Indian Knowledge Systems, ICT integration, research and development, and the role of higher education in society. The sessions were conducted online in two slots each day and were interactive in nature, encouraging active participation and discussion among the participants.
Faculty members from different institutions actively participated throughout the programme and benefited from in-depth discussions on curriculum reforms, pedagogical innovations, research orientation, and institutional preparedness under NEP 2020. The programme helped enhance awareness and understanding of outcome-based education, multidisciplinary learning, and the use of digital tools in teaching-learning processes.
The successful completion of this programme reflects the college’s commitment to academic excellence, capacity building, and effective implementation of NEP 2020. The collaboration with Gauhati University – MMTC added academic depth and enriched the overall learning experience.
